The Problem
Our Communities are Disintegrating
Our communities are disintegrating. Housing is unaffordable, costly to build, and requires nonrenewable resources. Food shelves are regularly bare of essentials—what food we have is overprocessed, less nutritious, and in many cases toxic. Nearly 35% of the world’s arable land has disappeared over the last 40 years. Global and national supply chains are failing. Power comes from industrialized, regional, polluting sources. Water aquifers are drying up and surface water is polluted. Schools have become politicized indoctrination centers. Even in the richest country in history, the quality of life is degrading, and we find ourselves in crisis.

Our Solution
Building Agile Regenerative Communities
An Agile Regenerative Community (ARC) is a town that is self-sufficient for power, water, waste management (including recycling), food, and basic manufacturing. The community uses advanced technology that is rapidly reconfigurable to supply these needs and adapt them as technology improves. The community may also have governance and financial systems that allow it to operate independent of larger systems and continue without harm in a financial crisis. The community is thus insulated from and can thrive during disruptions to supply chains, droughts, and other National or State crises.

Governance
-
Ownership: Tokenized properties allow fractional ownership and support affordable housing and alternatives to debt
-
Finance: KWH Token is redeemable for 1kWh of electricity; creates sound money that maintains purchasing power and can be widely adopted in the community
-
Education: Create ‘private’ school that is free to residents but accepts no government money and is free from government control
-
Government: Leverage holacracy principles for pushing governmental decisions to right level and remove hierarchy of decision-making
-
Social Contract: Use HOA legislation as a basis for creating a literal social contract among residents including better approaches to law and mediation
